| New Fantasy Sky layout... finally XD |

After months of procrastination I've finally finished the Fantasy Sky layout! :D Huzzah!
I also posted a few new pages... I forget how many ^^; Like 4 or something...? Sooo close to catching up... I have a bajillion inked pages which I'll scan this week and I'm soo lazy at toning...
Anyways, hope you like the new site. There's finally a character section. For the first time in the manga's existence ^^;
I'm gonna rewrite some of what I've written for the story so far... I've just put all the ideas in a row, but I think it's better to go chapter by chapter ^^; And some of the manga is a little boring os I'll try and make it more exciting XD
That's all for now... I'll try and post more pages this week, and once I've caught up it'll be back to a normal three pages per week schedule :P |

I'm so sorry. Seriously. I know I've missed updates for the past two weeks -_- To catch up, I'm not doing four pages a week right now. I'll start that the first week of december, because by then I'm pretty sure I'll have caught up :P Currently, all the pages of last week have been posted on the Fantasy Sky site :P And soon I'll try and update the smackjeeves account :P I'm also trying to work on a lot of the sections of the website and stuff so yeah :P Hopefully by december there will be a new layout and a four-page-per-week schedule ^^ |

I'm planning on doing four pages a week until Christmas :D Because I reeeeally need to get this story going somewhere fast XD And I want to make up for all the updates I "missed" when I didn't update for all of august/september O.o

So so so so sorry for being late on yesterday's update XD I was just too tired when I got home, I didn't wanna update ^^;
Anyways, Chapter eight is done! Chapter nine starts monday.
The tagboard is all screwed up, and I'm not quite sure why ^^;
I'm also hoping to have a new layout by next month (middle of november at the latest XD I'm kinda busy, you know).
Anyways, that's it. I'm not having any motivational problems :P Good, lol. |

Okay, so finally some updates are coming XD
Starting Monday, September 25th, a new update schedule is being introduced!
From now on, Fantasy Sky will be uptades every monday, wednesday and friday.
But you know me ^^; I suck at these things. So give me some time to get used to it, and I apologize in advance if I happen to miss a day ^^; Although I really hope I won't.
I also hope to get a new layout soon, because the one I have right now sucks a lot, and there are so many pages missing XD

It's been over a month since I last updated ^^; I'm so sorry. I really feel terrible. I have to work on this more >.<
I've been thinking... what if I did a scheduel? I like the idea of updating one page on mondays, wednesdays and fridays...
I know a few webcomics that do that :P So it might be good for me to get on a scheduel. Although I might not be able to handle a scheduel ^^; But I'll try it, and if it works, then I'll stick with it :P It might take me awhile to get into a routine, but I hope it'll all work out. One I've got 3 pages a week going, I'll try and add more :P But I'm also trying to deal with getting back in the routine of homework and piano lessons and everything XD
I'll try and update soon. And I'd like to make a new layout soon too. Maybe I'll do that over Thanksgiving weekend... although that's just under a month away XD |

Six new pages today plus a new wallpaper featuring Leer XD I'm sooo sick of drawing Deimi >.< I really don't like her character. I think that's cuz I did a bad job of drawing her in the first volume XD I actually really want to redraw the first volume, but I don't think I have the time >.< If I did, it'd probably just be in pencil, because I hate toning enough as it is XD
I really dislike this update myself but... I dunno. To each their own, I guess. Yes, that is supposed to be blood, in case some people are wondering.
Next time I hope to have a new layout and a faairly long update. I need to draw the picture for the layout though. So yeah, I dunno when it'll be ready.

Chapter 8 starts today :P You get 5 pages + the chapter cover XD I'll try and update again really soon. I've been more motivated to work on it lately since we're at a part that I've been planning in my head for awhile now. But it doesn't looks as good when I draw it out XD
This update seems kinda wierd. And boring. But next update will be more exciting... heh heh heh.
Forget that XD
You might notice there's no title on this chapter. That's because I thought "screw it! I don't need titles! :D". So not only did I not give this chapter a title, but I took the titles off of chapters six and seven! :D So that's the end of the titles.
I'll try and update the character pages soon. I'm just having a hard time finding good pictures of the characters... well, good pictures that show their normal personality XD So as soon as I get those pictures, I'll update that section. And I might make a new layout this summer, but I probably won't. We'll see. |

I just have four exams left, and then I'm free to update and do whatever I want.
I can't wait for summer to really begin. I have sooooo much catching up to do...
I might make a slightly different layout for my site, but not a big change like last time. Actually, last time wasn't really that big a change either.
Some people probably think my layout is too simple, but... I'm not very good at html, what can I say XD And I'm not too creative when it comes to web layouts or... well, anything really ^^;
So yeah, update coming soon hopefully... I'll be finishing of Chapter 7! :D |

I am so happy, I finally updated in two weeks' time XD Okay, a little over two weeks, but whatever.
Six new pages, and chapter two is almost over!
I'm sorry the pages lately have seemed...empty. I never know what to draw for backgrounds XD
You'll see why Leer wants revenge later... How much later I haven't decided yet :P
Karr has been acting very serious lately. He reeeeally doesn't like Aleru. Well, none of the people in Liris like them very much, but he's got a personal grudge against them, like Leer does :P Otherwise Karr is supposed to be more of a happy character...
Also, a little while ago I put up a page of theme songs I chose for the manga. It's so much easier to find ending themes than opening ones O_o For openings I originally wanted to choose Re-Sublimity by KOTOKO and Alterna by Ayumi Hamasaki. I didn't choose Re-Rublimity because it's already the theme to an anime, and I didn't choose Alterna because I already have a song by Ayu for the ending. A lot of people think she's overrated, and deep down I think I do too, but I still really like her music :) Still, I don't think I'll choose two songs out of four by her XD |

So so so so so so sorry that it took almost a month to update D:
I was going to update much earlier in the week, but I sprained my foot reaaaaally badly, and I wasn't allotwed to come downstairs. It's still difficult to go downstairs cuz I go really really slowly XD
But that doesn't matter :P I'll try and update it again soon, I have about four pages sketched for the next one...
I think I was doing better on toning for the first few pages of the update, but then I got lazy and rushed the rest :P
I have realised that there's a lot on the site that's really messed up (pictures in the gallery that got shrunk, links that don't work...), so I'll be fixing that during the summer I think.
Also notice that comissions are back!

I really, truly apologize about the slopinnes of the sketching, inking, scanning and especially the toning of these pages! It's terrible, I know...
Oh, and by the way...
I've been thinking for awhile about buying a domain name or whatever... yeah, you can see how much I know about this stuff. So does anybody know any (reliable) place to buy one...? |

9 new pages updated, plus alot of sketches in the gallery.
I'm happy with some pages, very very dissapointed with others. I like the last page, I dunno why. I just got to draw everybody :P Except I don't like how Deimi came out on that page.
Raya's boyfriend still has no name, and I can't draw him how I wanted to...
Also, I can't draw snow very well ^^; On page 17, it's a SNOWBALL that hits him. And the snow on page 18 looks like big piles of... grey stuff. I think I used a little too much screentoning on that one. Lol. Also, some of the talking in these pages might not make sense, like why everybody is so worried about Leer... that'll be revealed much later. Also, Tsukanen is going to be a loooong side-story. It's not really manditory to read,I suppose, but it'll let you understand some of the characters better.
So while I'm drawing pages, I'll also be drawing these side chapters. At the end of every volume they pages can all be posted at once, hopefully, so it doesn't interfere with the main story :P
It's hard to explain, but you'll see in the future I guess...
Btw, if anybody is wondering, so far the manga is set to be 10 volumes. But I have some scenes to add and some scenes to take out, so we'll see how long it is in the end.
The sketches are random and there's alot of them. I should colour some. I can't believe I've had this manga for a year and I've got, like, 3 CGs.
Speaking of which, yeah, it's been a year since the 8th since my manga started! Wow, and I've hardly done anything for a years worth...
I should do a special picture ^_^
I hope to update withing two weeks. |

After almost a month, it's another mini-update. I'm SO SORRY. These pages suck, there's not alot, and the chapter cover shrank. I hate to blame it on the fact that the site kept going down, but that DID keep me busy for awhile ^^;
I'm falling behind in almost everything in my life right now, lol. Next update, which I will try my best to make sooner, I'll be updating pages, fixing the covers that have been resized, and the gallery is going to be updated :P
Um... I really hope to update soon :D Oh, and sorry for the, uh, lack of backgrounds and toning on these pages... I was kind've drawing a blank (oops, no pun intended. honestly!) |

I meant to update tommorroe, but I'm afraid I haven't been working on it enough. A mix of schoolwork and laziness -__- sorry!
Hopefully volume two will turn out to be better than volume 1 was...?
I need to catch up on my artwork too...

Yaaay, the site is back :D I'm very happy... I think I mighta over reacted, but it was almost a week before the site came back so... I guess I got a little worried ^^; And I was worried about all the work ahead of me and how I'd get it all done :P
Sooo, there's four new pages, and this weekend, if I have time, I will be adding to the gallery and characters section. And... um, yeah, that's about it for now. The site's a mess right now. And the comissions link really shouldn't be there cuz I'm not doing them anymore XD I didn't get comissioned alot in the first place, so there ya go :P I dunno how i'll make any money though.

I'm also "resurrecting" my ooooold manga Twilight. It will be updated... um... not to often..? I don't know if anybody remembers the original version... it was a crappy manga I started in October of 04 and I quit it... about this time last year ^^; heheheheheh.... but Fantasy Sky will live on! It's almost at its one year anniversary :D And... I've drawn, like, 100 pages. Heheheh, pathetic! |

The cover and first page are up. This is a new character and... yeah. You'll find more out about her later. I have so much work ahead of me for the rest of the weekend O_o so... yeah, I'll be busy with exams this week, but after that I've got a long weekend so I'll (hopefully) get some work done on the manga. I also need to work on my story, which has been taking alot of neglect recently XD I have some catching up to do as you can see....
so yeah, expect another update near the end of the week. I also have to update the galleries with a few things :) |
